ACCOMODATIONS

If you’re looking for a convenient hotel, we recommend The Silver Cloud Hotel, University District. The hotel is conveniently located about midway between Congregation Beth Shalom and The Seattle Yacht Club. Other nearby hotels include The Graduate, and The Residence Inn, University District. 

AIRPORTS

There are two airports to fly in and out of, both about the same distance from the hotel/synagogue/party location.

Sea-Tac International Airport is a large airport and has the most airlines and flights to choose from. Sea-Tac also has the Light Rail (like a subway) that can take you from the airport to the University area, where you could then grab an Uber or Lyft to get to a hotel.

Paine Field Airport is a newer and much smaller passenger airport. Only Alaska Airlines and Frontier Airlines use Paine Field. You will need to rent a car or plan to use a ride-share or shuttle to get to the hotel from Paine Field.

SEATTLE AREA ATTRACTIONS

If you’ve never been to Seattle or it’s been a while, we have some fun ideas for you:

University Village – just down the street from the hotel. Shops, restaurants, etc. 

University of Washington – just up the hill from the hotel. Walk around campus, see Husky Stadium (the greatest setting in college football), check out the Suzzallo library. It’s fun to explore!

UW Waterfront Activities Center  – rent a kayak or canoe and explore Lake Washington and/or Lake Union. 

Washington Park Arboretum – walking tours, gardens, birding & boating

Seattle Center – Includes the Space Needle, MoPop, Pacific Science Center, and more!

Downtown Seattle Attractions: Seattle Art Museum, Pike Place Market, The Great Wheel, Wings Over Washington

Woodinville Wine Country – About a thirty minute drive from the hotel, you’ll need a car to explore this area.
